Senior Project Manager - Creative & Marketing Operations Location: Remote (ideally PST or MST timezones, Canada or U.S.) Start Date: ASAP Contract: 3+ months (high potential to convert to permanent) Overview We're seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to step into a high-impact role supporting a global marketing and creative team. This position requires a proactive, strategic thinker - not just someone who keeps projects on track, but someone who actively improves processes, anticipates challenges, and partners closely with senior stakeholders to elevate creative delivery. The ideal candidate has 10-12 years of experience managing complex creative and marketing projects, thrives under pressure, and understands both the digital and experiential sides of campaign execution. This is an urgent, high-visibility role that requires someone who can ramp up quickly and lead with confidence. Key Responsibilities Creative Operations & Resource Management Serve as the central hub for all creative and design requests submitted through ClickUp. Review briefs, triage incoming tickets, and lead daily standups with creative leads to determine resourcing and priorities. Oversee workflow allocation and timelines, ensuring projects move efficiently through the pipeline. Campaign & Production Oversight Manage production of seasonal digital marketing campaigns - typically one per quarter. Coordinate creative deliverables including static and motion assets, paid media creative, and campaign toolkits. Ensure consistency across creative assets and enforce delivery standards and timelines. Event Support Oversee asset creation and production for a large in person event. Manage timelines for video content, signage, brochures, and event materials. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure all event creative aligns with brand and campaign strategy. Process Optimization & Strategic Thinking Continuously identify opportunities to improve workflows, communication, and efficiency across teams. Conduct postmortems and performance reviews following key events and campaigns, providing actionable recommendations for improvement. Demonstrate forward-thinking leadership - planning ahead for future campaigns and events (e.g., initiating event planning earlier in the year). Act as a trusted partner to senior leaders - anticipating needs, managing expectations, and communicating effectively at all levels. Qualifications 8-12 years of experience in project management or creative operations, ideally within marketing, advertising, or consumer brands. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent campaigns and creative deliverables. Experience leading cross-functional creative teams and resource planning. Strong knowledge of digital campaign workflows; experience with event or experiential marketing is a plus. Familiarity with project management tools like ClickUp, Asana, Jira, or Monday.com. Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proactive, strategic, and able to identify opportunities for process improvement.
