Senior Coordinator, Payroll & Payroll Systems
Salary:
$66,597 - $83,246 - $91,571 per year (pay range explained below)
Coast Salish Squamish, Musqueam and Tsleil-Waututh Nations - Metro Vancouver: Park Royal Office - Hybrid - min 3 days in the offices (Hybrid working is an option in line with the FNHA's flex work policy).
Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027.
About the role
As Sr. Coordinator, Payroll Services, you will perform the more complex elements of payroll related work and is charged with organizing and supporting the functions of FHNA's payroll system. This includes engaging with diverse teams including Payroll, Human Resources, Application Support, and the upgrade and systems changes project teams. You will also be responsible for supporting the Payroll Supervisor with the year-end payroll functions and reporting. Additionally, you will report to the Payroll Manager, and while working very closely with the Payroll, Financial Services, Human Resources and Application Support teams, you will not directly supervise staff.

To be successful in this role you will have -
Education & Occupational Requirements
A bachelor's degree in any discipline plus 4 to 6 years related specialized experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Occupational Certification
PCP designation
Knowledge & Ability
Knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM Payroll, including basic query writing, is required.
Must be an advanced user of Microsoft Office products - specifically Excel.
Solid knowledge of the concepts, practices, methods and techniques pertaining to payroll and payroll processing, with strong numerical and computational skills.
Experience working in public sector payroll preferred.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
