Shoppers Drug Mart Specialty Health Network supports our retail stores to provide the best patient care to patients who require specialty drugs. We provide patient support programs for specialty drug therapies, providing physicians with resources to manage their patients, facilitating reimbursement, and enhancing patient compliance. We deliver superior customer service to patients, healthcare providers and pharmaceutical manufacturers to improve healthcare outcomes for all stakeholders.

About the Role:

The Senior Coordinator, Facility Operations will oversee and coordinate tasks in support of the SHN business

What you will do:

  • Oversee Visitor/colleague entrance at our Mississauga office location
  • Invoicing across multiple businesses (GL breakdown for different P&Ls)
  • Health and Safety reporting including membership in JHSC
  • Assist in resolving all facilities issues
  • Organize Colleague events
  • Colleague onboarding
  • Ordering of all office, kitchen, and other supplies
  • Review and adjust policies as required
  • Ensure that all site policies and procedures (non-regulatory / QA) are developed, in place and current
  • Compile reporting of policy adherence
  • Maintain relationships with Service vendors both Internal and External
  • Proactively communicate with all vendors to ensure that scheduled services are completed by the specified due dates
  • Creates "work orders", generate PO's, and issue to vendors to complete scheduled Preventative Maintenance work ensuring all equipment is functioning
  • Follow up with vendors and ensure the scheduled work was completed in a satisfactory manner
  • Manage and collect all completed work orders from vendors.
  • Completing work orders and maintaining an archive or database of completed and outstanding PMs, implementing change controls, and initiating CAPAs
  • Report all Adverse Events (AE) and Product Technical Complaints (PTC) immediately or as soon as possible upon becoming aware of the event as per current policies and procedures.
  • Scheduling general labor and repairs to facilities when required
  • Maintain a up to date vendor contact list
What you will need:
  • College Diploma
  • Knowledge about various work-related assignments and routines; capable of applying methods or procedures which are generally well-defined and straightforward, but able to adapt to meet occasional, unusual circumstances.
  • Skill in organizing and coordinating may be needed
  • Organization, Communication, moderate analytical knowledge, comfort with MS Suite
  • 2-5 years of work experience
