Senior Coordinator, Inbound Logistics

The Inbound Logistics Senior Coordinator is a key member of the logistics team and is responsible for supporting Canada's inbound logistics through the development and execution of strategic initiatives and tactical support to ensure the operational excellence of the product flow from origins to inventory, functioning as a liaison between all internal functions and outside strategic partners, and providing services in the following areas:

Logistics reporting and analysis

Inbound logistics operations and execution

Establish and enforce ongoing control-related standards and procedures

Strategic development and execution support

How You Will Make a Difference:

1. Logistics Strategy Support

Support Inbound Logistics and business partners to develop and implement strategic initiatives related to cost, speed, and service.

Collaborate with Logistics Team, Supply Chain Operation, DCs and other business partners to develop, design and implement logistics cost management and customer service enhancement strategies.

Foster and develop strong partner relationships with logistics and transportation.

2. Logistics Analysis Support

In coordination with Finance & SC operations, develop, analyze and generate operational reporting for logistics management and ensure the ongoing logistics reports and analytics are completed on time (which may involve controlling the system Outlook ETA to reflect the "most realistic." Preview date to enhance the visibility for Ops/Sales).

Support Inbound Logistics in S&OP, including developing and publishing S&OP relevant content and root cause analyses.

Support inbound logistics organization with identifying and implementing logistics routing optimization, ports diversification and cost savings initiatives.

Represent Canada logistics on the system/module enhancement efforts, including system testing, change management and hyper care.

3. Logistics/Transportation Operations Responsibility

Continue to support the Canadian supply chain through SC challenges stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic and resolve all tactical inbound challenges.

Coordinate inbound logistics and transportation-related activities and support all tactical responsibilities across brands, DCs and all transportation modes to meet or exceed the service level expectations.

Manage the inbound/outbound flow of the deconsolidation process via reporting and system updates to ensure constant movement of products and all inbound freight to DCs with order priority.

Ensure customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints to maximize sales, market share and profit for the company and the customer.

Proactively communicates status of shipments and processes "exceptions" (cargo delays, split shipments, claims, etc.).

4. Miscellaneous Support

Assume superuser role in all relevant systems (SAP, BOBJ, GTN, CASS, etc.).

Support or lead ad hoc projects as assigned.

Provide support to Operations, Forecasting, DTC, Distribution, and Customer Service teams.

Support the inbound/outbound team on the above as required by Logistics Manager.

Years of Related Professional Experience: 3-5 years

Educational/ Position Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Business and 3-5 years of work-related experience or equivalent.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional organizational skills and detail-oriented with strong time management

Knowledge and experience with carrier service coverage, operations, delivery standards and rates

Knowledge of tracking, tracing shipment reconsignment/return and storage/redelivery.

Above average knowledge of analytical tools including Microsoft Excel and Cognos/BOBJ

General working knowledge of operations management systems including NGC, GTNexus, SAP, BOBJ and CASS.

Must be a self-starter, solution-oriented mindset, and can-do attitude to overcome challenges

Ability to work in a team environment in pressure situations within changing demands and time constraints.

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:

Lifting and/or bending, lifting 10 lbs. of weight.
