Altus Group is looking for a Senior Content Marketing Manager to join the Content Marketing team.

Our Senior Content Marketing Manager will be accountable for owning, producing and project managing a large variety of content for strategic initiatives, campaigns, and ad hoc needs. They'll take lead in proposing the best content for the desired result, and devise and execute strategy for achieving the intended outcome.

Reporting to the Director of Content Marketing, the Senior Content Marketing Manager will partner closely with the rest of the Content Marketing team, in addition to a global set of SMEs, and our Field, Demand, External Communications, Digital, Website, Offer Marketing, Strategy and Research teams - to produce and manage the execution of high quality, thought-provoking, and compelling content.

The ideal candidate will have experience in project managing and executing a wide variety of content, including webinars, podcasts, blogs, videos, infographics, reports, ebooks, and guides. In addition, they'll have experience strategically leveraging key content distribution channels like newsletters, display advertising and sponsored content. And they'll understand what it takes to create great content that resonates with our target audience and supports them on their buying to post-sale journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing

Content mapping and end-to-end project management of content - whether campaign, strategic initiative or ad hoc

Represent the Content Marketing team on campaign or project teams

Lead and propose the strategy for achieving a desired outcome with content

Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders - whether SMEs, writers, leadership, clients or other vendors

Promote a collaborative and cross-functional working environment with all relevant teams (internal and external to Global Marketing)

Plan and deliver high-quality, consistent and impactful content in a timely manner

Executing

Support content development for campaigns and strategic initiatives

Write content briefs to support the development of future content

Write copy to support email, presentations, website, landing pages, etc.

Repurpose and publish our Research team's presentations, reports and articles

Execute on a content updating strategy for high-performing content

Align content to Offer Marketing/Product Marketing messaging, and/or brand messaging

Align with our Brand & Creative team to ensure content is on brand and consistent

Interview or arrange writer interviews with appropriate SMEs and incorporate relevant commentary

Apply best practices to all writing assignments

Adherence to our brand and style guides

Editing

Review, proofreading and editing all copy and content, ensuring a clear, consistent message and voice

Ensure copy is aligned to our approved Offer Marketing/Product Marketing messaging, and/or brand message

Success measures

Adherence to deadlines

Effectively manage projects and budgets

Monitor content effectiveness and apply learnings

Experience Required:

4+ years of experience in content marketing, and with a background in commercial real estate and/or commercial property tax

Experience executing on content for a variety of content types

Strong analytical and project management skills

Strong editing and proofreading capabilities, with a critical eye for detail

Excellent time management, with a proactive approach to work

Experience working in a deadline-driven environment, while balancing multiple priorities

Experience managing internal and external stakeholders

Experience working as part of collaborative and cross-functional teams

Experience managing content for a variety of purposes

Knowledgeable about best practices for content and targeting the appropriate audience

Outstanding communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking

Fluent in English. Fluency in French would be an asset, but not required.

Experience with Asana, Figma and Microsoft 365 is an asset

The candidate would ideally be based out of Altus Group's Toronto office, but remote work in the US or Canada is also an option.
