Job Description

Infosys is seeking a RAN Integration. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Toronto, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualification :

• Good understating of 2G/3G/LTE/5G networks
• Hands-on experience Integration and commissioning of Nodes
• Good understating of Architectures and Brown field/Green field deployment scenarios.
• Good Knowledge on SDN ,NFV, Kubernetes , containers, Dockers
• Good understating of O-RAN architecture and deployment scenarios.
• Basic understating of the IP connectivity
• Work in a Global delivery environment
• Should be able to converse in English
• Excellent Analytical and troubleshooting skill
• Excellent in Verbal, written communication
• Ability to work independently, within general guidelines or best practices and manage complex technical solutions
• Must have knowledge of LTE air interference along with the legacy technologies 2G/3G. 5G knowledge would have additional preference.
• Configuration and integration of network components in CLI and NMS systems
• Integration and commission of various nodes and features like carrier aggregation MIMO etc.
• HW/SW upgrades, performing backups, troubleshooting
• Migration of live network services remotely or on site using CLI, NMS , bespoke tools
• Work with field engineers to ensure configuration is installed, error free and ready for testing
• Adherence to technical procedures and network security access policies
• Working knowledge of Configuration Management, Network Automation, Workflows, Monitoring, Troubleshooting
• Decent understanding & knowledge of counters & KPIs of relevant OEM & RAT
• Knowledge & understanding of OEM specific tools (i.e., U2000, Netnumen, ENM, Netact, etc.)
• Identify the issues in N/W performance
• Experience of product certification in customer labs and field deployment
• Experience in container orchestration services and deployment of CNF and VNF
• System verification with good investigation and trouble shooting skills
• The ideal candidate to have technical background with Linux, Dockers, Kubernetes, openstack.
• Good understanding of Software design principles including Object oriented concepts
• Working knowledge of Networking concepts, IT Operations
• Good knowledge on the test methodologies, end-end product integration and feature validation
• Exposure to virtualization (VMware, kvm)
• Strong oral communication skills, including the ability to build consensus among people with strong opinions
• Experience programming with of Ansible and REST APIs
• Familiarity with Openstack Networking, AWS and other Cloud APIs
• OAM integration testing experience - Netconf, Yang, XML, JSON
• Hands on experience in Kubernetes and Cloud architecture
• Experience in Wireless Integration testing (Feature, Functionality, Performance Stability)
• Excellent Log analysis and debug skills
• Usage of tools like QXDM, Wireshark, iPerf etc
• Shall be great team player and work across functional teams and drive the team technically with sound judgement
