What will you do?




As a member of Siemens Canada Communications team, this is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the business and build our brand.


Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) + Responsible for strategy, planning and implementation of Siemens Canada's CSR program nationally + Management of our Impact Committee, national committee comprised of CSR representatives across the Siemens Canada locations
+ Management, implementation, training and reporting for Siemens Canada's online fundraising and volunteering portal (Benevity)
+ Responsible for liaising, managing and execution with various charitable organizations
+ Responsible for organization, promotion and execution of charity events, initiatives and sponsorships
+ Responsible for managing and execution of CSR annual budget
+ Provide executive support for CSR initiatives including briefing documents, speaking remarks, etc.
Content and Events + As part of the Content and Operations team, creation of content to promote and support Siemens Canada's Communications initiatives. Contributing editor for Siemens World, our internal online news platform - planning, creating, editing, posting. Other communications support for digital displays, social media, and print. + As part of the Content and Operations team, will help to manage, execute and support Siemens Canada's Communications led events like our annual Siemens Canada Business Conference, employee townhalls, our Siemens Canada Excellence Awards and other internal events in conjunction with the team.
Top Account Communications + Develops communications and profiles for key stakeholders + Role works closely with the VP of Communications and the President/CEO

What will you need to succeed?




Post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing, Business or relevant field essential 5-8 years of successful experience in marketing and communications Experience in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and volunteer management, including strategy, management and implementation is required, within a corporate environment Event Experience, including planning, management, implementation and post-event metrics Experience working with online fundraising platforms like Benevity Experience working in a large matrix organization preferred Experience managing indirect teams and driving together to results Excellent people skills and a strong teamwork attitude; strong collaboration skills Digitally savvy; skilled in photo editing Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Extremely organized and self-driven Proficient in all Microsoft Office tools, Adobe Acrobat Tools, social media platforms, Canva, graphic design tools Bilingual English/French communication skills, both verbal and written as asset
