What You\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing

As a Senior Consultant, Asian Banking you will provide leadership, consultation and coaching on Asian banking sales, service processes and standards to the CIBC team. You will identify local trends, successes and opportunities to influence in the Asian Market, bring a strong focus on client experience and make recommendations to ensure alignment with national service standards and expectations.

How you\'ll succeed

  • Leadership and Partnership: You will support projects and the development of new initiatives related to Asian Banking while identifying sales opportunities, potential business risks and priorities to the business. You will be a subject matter expert on the implementation of clients sales, service management, processes, standards, established activities and programs to contribute to the revenue and funds managed of the market.
  • Consultation: You will influence the development of best practices: toolkits, seminar material, marketing material and training materials to enhance education for the Asian Market. You will conduct competitive research on Asian Banking offers and identify sponsorship opportunities to engage in. You will work in partnership with the with National Office teams to provide input for effective and consistent development of national operational practices, service standards and behaviors.
  • Service Focus: You will champion the effective handling of Asian customer loyalty initiatives, including customer problem resolution. You will work to deepen CIBC\xe2\x80\x99s presence and relationship in local Asian communities across the country and overseas and handle inquiries regarding Asian banking, including rules & policies.
  • Outreach: You will support in organizing all Asian Banking events, including Asia Forum, Chinese New Year Client Dinner and sponsorship events. You will attend external events to build relationships with the local Asian Community while representing CIBC.

  • You can demonstrate experience in CIBC\xe2\x80\x99s Asian Banking segment and operations, systems and the financial advisory platform, relative to Personal Banking, Imperial Service & Business Banking. You are familiar with the Asian Market, regulatory environment, risk issues, client behaviors and business practices.
