What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Be Doing

The Senior Consultant, Risk Analytics is a seasoned expert responsible for supporting the risk analytics team in reporting and overseeing risk. You will exercise considerable judgement to conduct comprehensive risk analysis to identify and assess risk exposures, which facilitates the decision making of senior leaders in relation to appropriate risk management strategies. As the Senior Consultant, Risk Analytics, you will use significant latitude in determining objectives and lead employees in risk data processes and deliverables that reflect best practices, and partner with key stakeholders to identify data quality improvement opportunities. The role often operates in ambiguous situations and provides innovative, original ideas, accountable to broadly defined policy objectives.

Operational support - Manage daily operation tasks within risk data processes and deliverables that will continue to evolve and reflect best practices and will partner with stakeholders in a wider Risk Management organization to identify data quality improvement opportunities including risk system and process design and quality assurance controls.

Support quality assurance process - Review of the source feed and normalized data, exposure results, and feed error report, confirming validity of material changes in support of complete, timely and accurate exposure measurement. Analyze, summarize, and report on material exposure changes in support of management and regulatory reporting whilst ensuring material issues are appropriately escalated and, where applicable, recommend and execute on remediation plan.

Maintain controls - Related to the integrity of risk data, conducting ongoing data quality review, ensuring new initiatives including program/product/process design implementation, systems, procedures, documentation etc., meet the standards required to support the business unit objectives and overall controls.

You can demonstrate experience. In capital market and market risk. It\xe2\x80\x99s an asset if you have product knowledge and experience in middle office functions. You can demonstrate a strong knowledge of desktop computing applications, particularly Excel and SQL. It\'s an asset if you can demonstrate expertise in Python.
