Our team members have what they need to make a meaningful impact and are truly valued for who they are and what they contribute.To learn more about CIBC, please visitWhat You\xe2\x80\x99ll Be DoingThe Consultant, Risk Analytics within CIBC\'s Client Analytics and Forecasting team has the objective to provide senior management with the necessary information for the personal lending portfolios so they have a good understanding of the risk profile of the existing portfolios which is critical to ensuring the sustainable performance that CIBC\xe2\x80\x99s risk appetite demands. As a Consultant, Risk Analytics you will contribute to the profitable growth of personal lending portfolios by independently and proactively performing the activities that support the performance monitoring, portfolio loss forecasting, stress testing, and analytics for the credit cards, residential mortgages, secured and unsecured lines/loans portfolios including student loans. You will also improve forecasting processes and methodologies, identify weaknesses and close the gap of inefficiencies, explore new data sources, and develop deeper understanding of clients.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You are systematic in adhering to the processes related to monitoring data quality, raising data quality issues, and taking ownership to solve them in both production reporting and project delivery setting.Attention to detail and accuracy: Proactively checking for accuracy when creating reports with excellent attention to detail.Evaluating complex data relationships: Develop fact based reports and presentations with knowledge gained from sound analysis, generate insights and recommend solutions to problems and present the outcomes.Who You AreYou can demonstrate 3 years of work experience in a reporting or analytics function, with strong knowledge of Statistics or Mathematics, with solid skills in SAS, SQL and Python; and have good understanding of credit cards, residential mortgages, secured/unsecured lines and loans business.You have a degree in Statistics, Mathematics or a Business discipline.You understand that success is in the details.
