About the role We\'re looking for an Senior Communications Advisor, Executive Communications for our growing team ! Within the CA&C team, the executive communications team is responsible for developing and executing communication plans that elevate the profile of C-suite executives and share the key elements of Intact\xe2\x80\x99s strategy. This includes the management of various executive engagements, internal and external events, employee blogs and social media accounts. As a senior communication advisor, you have the opportunity to work in close collaboration with Intact\xe2\x80\x99s CEO and leadership team by putting forward strategic communication initiatives. In this position, you will also interact with colleagues across the organization to learn about the business, share news and examples, and create content to support Intact\xe2\x80\x99s storytelling efforts. The Corporate Affairs & Communications team The Corporate Affairs & Communications (CA&C) team focuses on reputational management by providing Internal and External Communications, Government Relations and Social Impact solutions that support IFC\xe2\x80\x99s business objectives and 10-year strategic roadmap. This includes:

  • Supporting and amplifying the common elements that bring us together, define our unique culture and drive outperformance
  • Protecting and promoting the IFC brand and reputation globally
  • Elevating IFC\xe2\x80\x99s role in helping to build resilient communities where we do business
  • Creating and amplifying thought leadership content to share IFC\xe2\x80\x99s knowledge and expertise
  • Enhancing employee engagement across IFC \xe2\x80\x93 emphasize what makes us a winning team
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted advisor and develop strong relationships with senior leaders across the business
  • Develops and executes communications plans that support Intact\xe2\x80\x99s objectives, drives engagement and elevates C-suite profiles
  • Shows strong project management including of workback schedules, content feedback and approvals, coordination of various task owners, and reporting and measurement
  • Works with key communication colleagues across CA&C to assess communication opportunities for executives. Ensure ideas are fitting, aligned with strategic priorities and determine the best approach to execute on them
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking by ensuring alignment of messaging and approach with all Intact brands and regions
  • Create, review, edit and adapt executive communications pieces (announcements, briefing notes, speeches, video scripts, social media posts, etc.) to reach various audiences in a meaningful way such as employees, shareholders, investors, and general public
  • Implements and manages internal events, including close collaboration with IT and external vendors, and development of key elements of the attendee experience such as branding, engagement opportunities, program agenda and content
  • Produce compelling digital profile of leaders aligned with their thought leadership strategy
  • Conducts research to support team decision-making, and continuous improvement

Specific Experience/Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Individual contributor role
  • 7+ years\xe2\x80\x99 relevant experience in journalism or communications in an agency or fast-paced environment
  • Experience creating strategic communications plans (from research to measurement) and designing strategies to meet organizational objectives
  • Proven ability to build and execute plans to enhance employee engagement
  • Proven ability to deliver work on time, and to manage multiple projects and expectations simultaneously
  • Highly computer literate with strong command of MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint, etc.)
  • Preferred: Bilingual or working proficiency of French because need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country
