:

We are currently seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect with exceptional problem-solving skills to drive workstreams. You will work alongside top engineers and technical thought leaders building Hybrid Cloud solutions helping shape the future of Credits Unions ecosystem.

Work you will do

Lead/support technical teams to architect, build, and deploy hybrid cloud solutions across public, private and hybrid cloud environments. Cloud Infrastructure Architects are responsible for designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting infrastructure, cloud services, network, and infrastructure security. Architects will work closely with other service provider teams, project managers, engineers, and other functional teams.

Responsibilities

Oversee cloud infrastructure design and develop detailed architecture blueprint for supporting test, development, and production environments.

Developing platform and infrastructure strategies

Plan for system and application migration(s) to the cloud, aligned to business direction, technical and business requirements.

Proven ability in leveraging deep subject matter expertise in Financial Services, technology architecture (data, security, legacy to cloud transformations, integration, and standardization)

Working knowledge of enterprise payment system, Open Banking, digital transformation, to develop and deploy an architecture that aligns to business vision.

Working knowledge of legacy and emerging technology, including digital omnichannel, core banking systems, hybrid cloud platforms (Azure, IBM, AWS, GCP etc.), financial models for Digital and legacy platforms and digital transformation supported by Microservices, Big Data, APIs, ML and AI, Infrastructure as Code, SRE, Event Architecture, Open Source, Kubernetes, DevOps, Software and Hardware Licensing models, etc.

Work closely with Information Security and on open-source early detection and information security analytics

Working with a small project team as a hands-on leader in engineering and configuration of cloud infrastructures

Application platform modernization through re-engineering, re-platform, and re-architecture of legacy systems

Develop and document technical designs for integration and implementation of new cloud applications and systems.

Optimize the cost of cloud solutions by identifying waste and automating cloud cost management.

Lead the development of technical artifacts including Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), Detailed Technical Design, Security Architecture Plan, Services Description Document, etc.

Plan and develop support processes that adhere to best practices (ITIL)

Communicate effectively through strong written and oral communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Integrate with non-cloud technologies and third-party vendor products/services.

Assess emerging technologies, stay abreast of industry trends, and give advice on investments prices versus performance.

• Experience with highly available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in a University/College

Design highly available, redundant, public cloud architectures, utilizing IaaS and PaaS, for large scale, mission critical applications and high transaction workloads.

Understand challenges of large-scale cloud deployment and upgrades resource allocation

• Strong working knowledge of the financial services industry
• 10+ years cloud and infrastructure architecture experience
• 5+ years experience with micro-services architecture
• Keep abreast of a broad range of technologies that may bring value and application to solve business problems.

Ability to design and implement hybrid cloud infrastructure at scale.

Interpersonal skills with great collaboration skills

Knowledge of various IT ecosystems

Leadership skills

Proficiency in programming and coding languages

Knowledge and experience of cloud environments, such as Azure Cloud, Google Cloud, or AWS
