GFL Environmental is looking for a Sr. Business Systems Manager to join our team based out of our Vaughan Office! The Sr. Business Systems manager will be expected to illustrate the organizational skills necessary to coordinate and prioritize field support, conduct training, and lead projects and optimizations. Manage, test, and conduct system enhancements, changes, and utilities to ensure functionality prior to field distribution. This individual needs to have strong written and oral communication skills. Responsible for managing & coaching Business Systems Analysts and Sr. Business Systems Analysts.Key Responsibilities:

• Proficient with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Risk Management (RM) software and business practices
• Working knowledge of Enablon's Vision Platform or other Enablon product offerings or other EHS, ESG and RM software solutions
• Basic knowledge of Enablon (advanced knowledge preferred) or other software for reporting to write various reports for the field locations
• Utilize knowledge of Enablon Factories and tool sets to ensure the successful implementation of projects
• Function as a subject matter expert in providing support in all aspects of the EHS, ESG and RM software solutions including troubleshooting, providing user advise, acting as a liaison with IT or any other entities, and conducting individualized or group training
• Document business requirements for application functionality needs
• Troubleshoot application issues and identify/lead solutions
• Work with 3rd Party consulting firms for larger scale project deliverables
• Lead data projects (mass data changes)
• Interpret data and analyze results
• Ensure team members have the tools/technology to be successful
• On-board new employees

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

• 2-year associate degree, Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred
• 6 years IT work experience (must have experience with Enterprise Application support)
• 4 years' experience required in the waste industry with a focus on EHS, ESG and/or RM systems and business practices
• 4 years' supervisory/management experience
• Hands-on experience with enterprise and desktop applications, including of Enablon's Vision Platform or other Enablon product offerings or other EHS, ESG and RM software solutions
• Proven leadership experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques
• Able to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures
• Understand the importance of standards and data quality in application systems
• Knowledge of trends in technology relating to software applications
• Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives
• Self-Starter with strong organizational skills
• Ability to conduct training and educating the business stakeholder
• Effectively documenting application issues and resolutions
• Must be user focused and foster good customer relations
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced constantly changing environment
• Database expertise including design, structure, and function
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams
• Must be familiar with regulated systems installation and management per, Sarbanes Oxley
• Strive for continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the application support work group
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Be able to travel as required
