Qualifications:

The Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. (BCA) is seeking a Senior Business Operations Manager that will be reporting to the Director of Business Operation and IT. The Business Operations Senior Manager will be supporting BCA fabrications This position is located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The Senior Business Operations Manager will be responsible for leading the team supporting business operations, strategy and project execution in support of the LRBP. They will be the primary focal for the Fabrication Business Operations team.

Position Responsibilities:

Manages employees and first-level managers performing business management activities in the area of Business Operations.

Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.

Acquires resources for department and site initiatives activities and leads process improvements.

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches and processes.

Provides guidance and direction to team on the management information system (MIS), statement of work management, rate planning, strategy planning and site communication.

Partner with Winnipeg leadership to position and run the business. Maintain a management system that provides clear visibility to the organization\xe2\x80\x99s production health and rate readiness.

Oversee a portfolio management system for business improvement projects and statement of work authorization and transfers. Partner with Finance to drive clear visibility around business planning, forecasting cycles and capital expenditures.

Leads transformation efforts to strengthen the linkage between statement of work (SOW), affordability projects and the business plan.

Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers. Holds teams accountable for deliverables. Creates an inclusive and safe environment for all employees.

Fosters a culture of business leadership, driving project management discipline, strategic thinking, standard work and a sense of urgency to meet organizational commitments.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Winnipeg location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or higher education

5+ year\xe2\x80\x99s management experience, leading cross functional teams

3+ years of experience with project and program management best practices (ex: risk, financial and schedule management)

3+ years of experience leading transformation initiatives / programs

Must be legally able to work in Canada

Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods

Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Bachelor degree or higher in Business field is preferable

Experience executing strategies that support business needs and drive employee engagement

Knowledge of business plan and policy development
