We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who will support the lead product owner of the LTC Anti-Fraud Data & Analytics squad. The squad is responsible for leveraging new and existing data sources and models to prevent and detect fraud.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with Anti-Fraud Team (AFT) consultants and developers to prioritize backlog of Anti-Fraud Tool usability enhancements.
Perform ad-hoc analysis to quantify the financial impact of fraud prevention/detection initiatives.
Create reports to supervise ongoing impacts.
Using Agile methodologies to track work and enhancements in JIRA.
Investigate new data sources that may be useful in identifying fraud.
Determine where new controls can be implemented to deter and prevent fraud.
Evaluate potential vendor offerings (OCR capabilities, knowledge graph, ML/AI models).
Share information on projects with other team members to ensure interdependencies among work are identified and addressed.

You will work in a Team of Team structure working closely with IT, Advanced Analytics, Human Center Design and Legal to optimize the LTC inforce business by achieving savings targets.

What we are looking for
Extensive knowledge of LTC products, systems, and claims processes.
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business, mathematics, or computer science preferred.
5+ years dynamic business analysis and/or project management experience supporting significant business initiatives.
Experience implementing a change management process.
Critical thinking and complex analysis skills.
Ability to build effective business relationships with key partners and business management.
Strong facilitation skills and ability to build team consensus.
SQL experience preferred.
Additional coding language experience is an asset.

Primary Location Toronto, Ontario
Salary range is expected to be between $68,775.00 CAD - $114,625.00 CAD
