TELUS Supply Operations purchases, manages and distributes all materials and services for our company from infrastructure to consumer mobile through over 1,000 points of presence and direct to our customers. We are transforming how we deliver service to our customers and creating a competitive advantage for our company.
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for driving the exploration of our data and delivery of world-class visualization / analytics across our organization. This individual is an expert data modeler, ETL builder, and dashboard developer in our analytics suite: DOMO. This individual thrives at the intersection between data and the business and is eager to work with senior leadership and functional teams to understand the business and the issues at hand.

You will help enable purchasing & inventory management decisions, drive performance, and improve efficiency through building foundational data assets, creating data visualizations, automating data processes, and providing valuable analytical insights.

You can demonstrate a proven capability to engage stakeholders and work across different business units leveraging the most appropriate collaboration tools to support virtual team working . You will partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to drive key strategic and transformational initiatives to ensure TELUS consistently outperforms our competition.
Here's how

• Develop visualization reports for key stakeholders using DOMO
• Develop and maintain dashboards, data transformations, ETL, etc.. communicating key metrics and analytics
• Develop deep knowledge of the business and use it to proactively pull insights from our data to inform business strategy, identify trends, and surface areas of concern
• Determine best practices for data analytics and business intelligence across the business ensuring access to and understanding data
• Continuously identify and implement improvement opportunities
• Automate and streamline processes across teams
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and special projects as needed
• Collaborate with stakeholders, support their analytics needs and help them up their analytical skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree ideally in a mathematics, data analytics, data science or other similar discipline
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in working with large volumes of data from multiple sources
• Deep knowledge of SQL and ETL
• Familiarity with modern cloud-based analytics tools like DOMO (preferred), Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
• Collaborative and flexible team player with solid organizational skills
• Outstanding attention to detail, and the ability to uphold high quality control standards
• Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency, resourcefulness, responsibility and accountability

• Prior telecommunications or supply chain experience
• RPA (robotic process automation) knowledge/experience
