  • Contribute and/or take ownership of the delivery of business initiatives
  • Identify business needs, manage the impact on operations and recommend the most optimal solutions.
  • Challenge current business rules and operating procedures.
  • Manage stakeholders and work to bring together different interests.
  • Proactively communicate results, issues, and risks to management.
  • Practice sound risk management on a daily basis.
  • Bring the Agile Mindset to life in the delivery team.
  • Conduct business analysis to support solutions by documenting requirements in business specifications for solution designers and developers.
  • Understand business issues, identify stakeholder needs, propose and implement strategies and solutions, taking into account the varied nature of the issues to support project delivery.
  • Provide IT application support to team members and business units as required.
  • Participate in the delivery of solutions that adequately address business needs and fit within the target architecture.
  • Support the business units and IT in each step of the initiatives\' realization.
  • Conduct various analyses (context, issues, impacts, functional, non-functional and informational, processes, business rules) to produce a diagnosis of the gaps between the current situation and the target situation.
  • Act as a coach for more junior resources in the team.
  • Ensure sound end-to-end change management.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in a related business field and five years of relevant experience, or Master\'s degree in a related business field and three years of relevant experience
  • At least 5 years experience in business analysis
  • Knowledge of insurance (asset)
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum and Kanban methodology
  • Experience in business process management
  • Experience in change management
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, strong vision, excellent analytical and synthesis skills, as well as oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and facilitate decision making
  • Ability to facilitate business elicitation workshops
