About the Role:

We are hiring a consumer-focused Senior Brand Manager who will play an integral part in business planning and brand development for a group of brands under a key segment targeted toward two distinct but related groups: customers and consumers. The individual is responsible for the strategic development and implementation of brand plans and marketing initiatives that will drive LindtaEUR(TM)s profitable growth. The Senior Brand Manager will also be leading and managing two individuals. This is a 12-month maternity leave contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop consumer-relevant, annual marketing plans that contribute to sales and profit, and continuously work with all cross-functional teams to plan and execute programs to drive segment growth
  • Identify and recommend business-building opportunities and action plans that deliver against corporate and marketing objectives
  • Champion brand initiatives and influence action against key strategies across the organization, with continuous engagement with Lindt retail and wholesale customer accounts
  • Work to ensure brand continuity and compliance with international directives and policies
  • Understand all aspects of customer asks and ensure all initiatives are in line to drive Win Win strategies both for Lindt as well as Key Customers
  • Manage P&Ls and ensure corporate revenue and gross profit targets are met against all initiatives/segments
  • Analyze viability and sales/profit potential for new product and drive internal process through cross-functional support to meet required deliverables in a timely manner
  • Plan, manage and champion brand plans with strong media and consumer activation programs for the brand or segment
  • Lead briefings and the creative development of IMC marketing campaigns and promotions with multiple agency partners and stakeholders, ensuring consistent brand representation across all consumer touch points
  • Ensure timely execution and implementation of activations (media/creative, digital/content, PR, experiential, sampling, partnerships)
  • Lead consumer and customer insight analysis to better plan strategies to drive growth
  • Conduct and present ongoing business reviews to understand all aspects of the business from financial, market, consumer and trend analysis for continuous growth
Who you are:
  • You have 6+ years of Brand Marketing experience within the CPG Industry
  • You have a bacheloraEUR(TM)s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or another relevant field
  • Thorough Nielsen MarketTrack and Nielsen Homescan knowledge is required, Cognos reporting knowledge is an asset
  • You have great leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • You are analytical and curious to understand market, consumer and customer insights
  • You can translate business goals into action plans and develop contingency plans
  • You are motivated to win; you show accountability and commitment to results, and you are able to obtain optimal results from the team and partners through leadership and relationship building
  • You have strong relationship skills to liaise with international subsidiaries, headquarters along with internal stakeholders
  • You have strong analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking skills as well as strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Previous knowledge in sales would be an asset
