Are you a skilled and experienced technician with a passion for assembling and maintaining complex conveyor systems? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Senior Conveyor Assembly Technician. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless operation of conveyor systems critical to our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:



Conveyor System Assembly:

Lead the assembly and installation of conveyor systems, including mechanical, electrical, and control components, following blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure that all conveyor systems meet the company's high standards for performance and safety.

Troubleshooting and Repairs:

Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in existing conveyor systems, minimizing downtime and optimizing efficiency.

Team Leadership:

Mentor and provide guidance to junior technicians and assembly teams, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the required standards.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of assembly procedures, repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory. Update documentation as necessary to reflect changes and improvements.

Safety Compliance:

Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, and promote a culture of safety within the team. Identify and address potential safety hazards promptly.

Continuous Improvement:

Collaborate with engineers and other departments to identify opportunities for conveyor system improvements, upgrades, and innovations.

Training:

Stay current with industry trends and advancements in conveyor technology. Provide training and knowledge-sharing sessions to team members as needed.

Qualifications:



High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training in a related field is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in conveyor system assembly, installation, and maintenance. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Excellent leadership and communication abilities. Commitment to safety and a track record of adhering to safety protocols. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Familiarity with conveyor system components and technologies.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
