We do this through driving care integration and digital enablement. Our teams deploy models of care, clinical services, and digital infrastructure to address key gaps in the health system. Our domains of work include post-acute integrated model of care for short stay patients, natural occurring retirement communities (NORCs), outpatient care, virtual care, Connected Care Hub, digital health (eServices and Resource Matching and Referral [Rm&R]) and Altum Health.POSITION SUMMARY:This position reports to the Senior Program Manager of UHN Connected Care Toronto Region Deployment Team. The Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting the advancement of health care related initiatives across the Toronto Region through deployment of strong project and change management. This role will support high priority and complex projects, aimed at improving patient and clinician experience as well as patient outcomes.RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDE:

  • Support project activities related to scope, schedule, resources, communications, risk, and development of resulting project documentation
  • Manage risks by balancing client expectations, project scope and taking early action to resolve or escalate problems
  • Successfully support the planning, implementation and delivery of projects within an inter-disciplinary team environment
  • Regularly engage with project sponsors and stakeholders to collect requirements and to ensure success through project lifecycle
  • Apply change management and communication strategies to multiple stakeholders and organizations throughout projects
  • Use the integrated delivery approach to ensure successful implementation and adoption of digital health services across a varied group of stakeholders
  • Perform assignments and special projects in support of organizational objectives, often functioning across disciplines and areas of expertise
  • Work with minimal supervision and report escalations as required
  • Identify strengths and weaknesses of various alternatives and select or recommend appropriate solutions which are practical and thorough, to a wide range of complex problems
  • Assist in the management and monitoring of project plans
  • Seek to improve team performance by encouraging other team members to contribute to team tasks
  • Lead self and peers by conduct and example. Participate and contribute on assigned project teams or committees by assisting in the development of guidelines, procedures, standards, and monitoring for industry compliance. Provide assistance and/or training to designated staff members
  • Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer/vendor contacts required. Provide discussions and status reports on normal business processes in written, verbal or graphical form as required. Ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
  • Pull and analyze patient level data; summarize into reports for various audiences
  • Provide demos of digital tools, support workflow discussions and enable integrations
  • Frequently prepare presentations outlining project status updates, overview of digital tools, and data to support the narrative; prepared for audiences of varying seniority.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate Degree required in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business or related field; Clinical background an asset. Masters degree an asset.
  • Minimum 2-3 years Healthcare Project Management experience (at the senior analyst level preferred)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management (project planning, implementation, evaluation, risk assessment, benefits realization)
  • Project Management and Change Management certifications are assets
  • Knowledge and experience in developing and executing communications and adoption plans (e.g., stakeholder analysis, communication strategies and tactics, awareness campaigns, gathering user feedback)
  • Applicable industry experience in leading projects that support client groups such as Health Care, Pharmaceutical, Finance, Human Resources, Telecommunications etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills
  • Excellent analytical, prioritization, and organization skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of digital health
  • Strong data and analytics skills
  • Extensive knowledge in business systems analysis and problem recognition and problem solving abilities
  • Excellent presentation, writing, and/or training skills
  • Excellent team building skills, listening, coaching, group facilitation and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficient use of computer, software, and peripheral equipment, i.e., Windows, MS Office, MS Outlook
