The Senior Analyst, Financial Systems will work collaboratively with IT to support the finance team in various initiatives ensuring current systems are managed, ensure data integrity, lead and implement new cloud-based tools and be passionate about automation and process improvements to reduce waste. This position reports to the Vice President, Finance.
Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead new systems projects impacting financial reporting, accounting and treasury
• Work collaboratively with IT to define business requirements, review initial process and program designs; and support system implementations and upgrades
• System administration such as user administration and configuration of the system to meet business needs
• Managing the vendor for support of financial systems
• Managing the upgrades and patches to the system, working with the system vendor
• Coordinating and executing tests when systems change, either the system itself when upgrades and patches are performed, but also changes to integrations with the system
• Provide on-going support on Finance based systems
• Identifying inefficiencies and developing strategies to automate existing manual finance processes
• Ensure data integrity of all airline stats and reporting
• Lead implementation on cloud based standalone financial tools (not integrated into other Porter systems

Qualifications

• 5+ years of financial systems management, including implementation or upgrade of existing ERP or other cloud based solutions to improve processes
• Technical - strong understanding of computing fundamentals and technical systems, including network, hardware, systems administration and development
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science or accounting information systems
• CPA or CMA an asset;
• Thorough knowledge of business processes and systems impacting financial statements and underlying accounting entries
• Strong experience with Great Plains Microsoft Dynamics, Prophix or similar planning and reporting software, and Tableau or similar BI data
• Highly developed analytical skills with exceptional ability with Microsoft Excel
• Strong ability to build trust and influence others
• Teamwork mindset \xe2\x80\x93 ability to successfully interact with individuals within and outside of the organization
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Self-Starter \xe2\x80\x93 Possess initiative and able to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Travel/Aviation experience an asset.
