Responsabilities & Duties:

  • Qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses
  • Ensure that current versions of specifications and methods are used
  • Program and operate current data acquisition systems
  • Share findings with immediate supervisor in order to propose improvement ideas
  • Report any variation between expected and actual results
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement program using available tools
  • Complex analyses: unstable solutions, detection with refractive index, derivatization, difficult extractions
  • Complex techniques: UPLC, Conductivity Detector (Dionex)
  • Gas chromatography
  • Write standard operating procedures (SOP) and/or analytical reports
  • Under the Supervisor\xe2\x80\x99s responsibility, assist and train Analysts on specific techniques
  • Help implement action plans aimed at investigating any variation between expected and actual results
  • Occasionally review raw data and laboratory logbooks or equivalent
  • Ensure that the requirements for related allocated tasks are met
  • Act as support in case of analytical problems
  • Write analytical and scientific documents
  • Actively participate in resolving government queries
  • Ensure total compliance with GLP guidelines
  • Ensure that current versions of specifications and methods are used
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards
JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education & training
  • College degree (DEC) or B.Sc. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemistry/Biology Techniques
Experience:
  • Holder of a DEC: six (8) years of relevant experience
  • Holder of a B.Sc.: four (6) years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry would be an asset

  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical field, as well as its governing guidelines
Education : Diploma of College Studies - Technical
Bachelor

Experience : 6 years: Holder of a DEC: six (8) years of relevant experience Holder of a B.Sc.: four (6) years of relevant experience Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry would be an asset
