As we continue to modernize our Finance function, we're looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who not only delivers excellence in analysis and reporting but also challenges the status quo. You'll help reimagine how we plan, forecast, and communicate insights -- using technology, creativity, and curiosity to shape the future of the team.
HERE'S HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE:
Month End:

  • Generate financial reports through Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)/Oracle EPM (EPM)and validate results against relevant HFM/EPM and management reporting hierarchies.
  • Review financial results, independently investigate unexpected variances, liaise with relevant stakeholders to clarify variances and resolve identified issues, clearly document review, and provide insights on performance.
  • Synthesize key insights and performance drivers to support management decision-making.
  • Leverage data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Oracle Analytics) to enhance clarity and storytelling of results
  • Identify and implement process efficiencies leveraging automation (e.g. Oracle EPM automation capabilities and AI/ML).
Quarterly forecasts and annual budget:
  • Support the development of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts by working with key stakeholders by providing relevant forecast information based on corporate FP&A/management guidelines, preparing/providing forecast templates to assist in gathering forecast submissions, development of forecast data, and supporting data consolidation.
  • Analyze and review reasonability and completeness of forecast information at the US GAAP level, liaise with stakeholders to gather key information for analysis/clarification on submissions, and to resolve identified issues.
  • Assist in preparing consolidated quarterly forecasts and annual budget package with notes and commentary for presentation to Leadership team.
  • Act as a strategic partner to regional Finance teams and business leaders to build robust forecasts and challenge assumptions with data-driven insights.
  • Utilize scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to support leadership decision-making and risk management.
Projects and Transformation:
  • Lead and support transformation initiatives focused on automation, system enhancements, predictive planning and advance analytics, leveraging AI.
  • Partner with IT and Finance leadership to assess opportunities to streamline reporting and planning using digital tools.
  • Develop trusting relationships across the organization.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; CPA/CFA an asset.
  • 4+ years of progressive financial planning and analysis experience in a global or multi-entity organization.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data and provide clear, actionable insights
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with data modeling or automation tools (e.g. Power BI, Power Query, SQL, Python) is an asset.
  • Experience with Oracle EPM Suite (HFM, Planning, SmartView, GL Wand) or equivalent systems.
  • A natural collaborator with strong interpersonal and storytelling skills.
  • A proactive mindset with curiosity to learn, question, and innovate.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Comfort working with ambiguity
  • Strong interest in emerging technologies and a mindset for continuous improvement.
  • Experience leading or contributing to Finance process automation, dashboarding, or predictive analytics projects an asset.
