Job Summary

The Senior Advisor, Strategic Partnerships is responsible for the administration of CN\'s community investment channels. The role provides administrative support to the railroaders in the community, donations and sponsorships, community boards, membership and partnership Programs.

Main Responsibilities

Program Manager

\xc2\xb7 Oversee the Railroaders in the Community (RRITC) program

\xc2\xb7 Handle online platform and ensure timely payments

\xc2\xb7 Handle volunteer opportunities

\xc2\xb7 Support production of cover stories and feature content

\xc2\xb7 Provide administrative support for volunteers

\xc2\xb7 Handle RRITC emails and phone calls

Administrative Support

\xc2\xb7 Oversee donations and sponsorships for not-for-profit organizations

\xc2\xb7 Create and manage community investment requests in the portal

\xc2\xb7 Respond to Community Fund emails

\xc2\xb7 Handle vendor set up requests for new organizations

\xc2\xb7 Approve and process payments

\xc2\xb7 Support relationships with organization

\xc2\xb7 Support agreement signing with CN Law

\xc2\xb7 Attend biweekly meetings with Public Affairs Managers

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate shipping of promotional materials for sponsored events with vendors

\xc2\xb7 Process payments for promotional materials

\xc2\xb7 Oversee community boards as well as memberships and partnerships

\xc2\xb7 Prepare packages for meetings

\xc2\xb7 Attend quarterly meetings and maintain tracker for the Board of Director\'s decisions

\xc2\xb7 Approve and process requests for donations

\xc2\xb7 Prepare letters to accompany donations

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate logistics for trade shows and conventions

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate production of communications materials for sponsored events

\xc2\xb7 Process annual membership and sponsorship payments

Data Management

\xc2\xb7 Update monthly report for community investments

\xc2\xb7 Provide quarterly budget forecast

\xc2\xb7 Complete data reporting for Strategic Partnerships team

Working Conditions

The role has standard working conditions in an office environment with a regular workweek from Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure and stress.

Requirements

Experience

Administration and Date Management

\xc2\xb7 Between 3 to 5 years of experience as an administrator with proficient skills in data management

Education/Certification/Designation

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
