As a senior advisor, continuous improvement, you will be responsible for advising, supporting, proposing, and managing projects to improve and increase performance. You will support the managers of the various departments and services of the organization in the identification of performance gaps, in the establishment of action plans and in the implementation of procedures for monitoring activities and performance indicators. In constant search of improvement, you will propose improvement opportunities supported by Lean concepts and tools. A true Ninja of continuous improvement and change management, you will participate in the project to deploy the Lean culture throughout the organization. More specifically, you will:

  • Participate in the development of the Lean culture deployment strategy and play a key role in this culture change
  • Implement the activities related to the deployment of culture that will be assigned to you
  • Participate at the steering committee
  • Manage the improvement project cycle process
  • Ensure that standards for continuous improvement processes and tools are maintained
  • Contribute to Davie\xe2\x80\x99s priorities by supporting the process reviews required for major organizational projects
  • Support and advise managers and teams in the management and implementation stages of improvement projects
  • Support Green Belt agents in their improvement projects
  • Perform, when required, an organizational diagnostic to identify improvement opportunities supported by Lean concepts and tools
  • Prepare, lead, and act as a facilitator of Kaizen type workshops or others towards the search for innovative solutions
  • Assist managers in implementing innovative solutions and managing change
  • Monitor and be proactive in seeking opportunities to increase Lean and continuous improvement culture adherence
  • Monitor best practices in continuous improvement
  • Identify training needs in Lean management and provide the training (White Belt and Yellow Belt certifications)
  • Support supervisors in managing in Lean mode.


Qualifications
  • University diploma in a related field (engineering, administration, quality assurance\xe2\x80\xa6)
  • 10 years of experience in continuous improvement
  • Hold a Lean Six-Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Master the tools of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Rigour and exemplarity
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all clients and co-workers
  • Values teamwork
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Fluency in French (written and spoken) and intermediate to advanced English (written and spoken).

Additional Information
In order to be selected, it is mandatory that you successfully undergo and pass the investigation and security clearance process required by the Federal Government\xe2\x80\x99s Contract Security Program.
