Eatz Enterprises primary function is to manage and do the full cycle accounting for our group of restaurants.

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing the end-to-end accounts payable process and will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining strong relationships with vendors and restaurants' management team. This position requires a strong understanding of accounts payable functions, and able to organize and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, including processing and verifying invoices, preparing payment runs, and reconciling accounts. Ensure timely and accurate payments in accordance with payment terms. Collaborate with the vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth financial operations. Utilize accounting software such as Sage 50 for data entry and reporting. Maintain organized records of all transactions, vendor communications, and payments. Assist in period-end closing processes related to accounts payable. Prepare GST/HST & PST remittances.

Experience

Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role, demonstrating proficiency in accounts payable processes. Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage 50 is ideal but not required. Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with vendors and internal teams.
