Senior Accounting Technician - Job Posting

Location: Anjou / Montreal-Est Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 annually Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (1 day/week WFH after 3 months)

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Accounting Technician to join our growing finance team. You'll be responsible for accurate financial reporting, month-end closings, reconciliations, and supporting cross-department collaboration. If you're detail-oriented, love working with data, and enjoy using Excel to its full potential, this opportunity is for you.

What You'll Do

Handle expense journal entries, reconciliations, inventory, Support the controller with variance analysis, and project costing Work closely with operations, logistics, sales, and inventory teams. Analyze large data sets using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas). Learn how to use Advance Power Query functions (Power BI) Contribute to audits and process improvements.

What We're Looking For

Diploma or degree in Accounting/Finance. 3-5 years of accounting experience. Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP a must). Experience with inventory and/or logistics is a strong asset. Familiarity with Cloud accounting software ( etc.). Bilingual (French/English) is an asset.
