Reporting to the Director, Corporate Controller, the Senior Accounting Analyst, Consolidations is critical to the monthly consolidation of the Company\xe2\x80\x99s global results on a timely and accurate basis and the preparation of quarterly and annual external financial disclosures in accordance with IFRS. In addition, this position plays a key role in the continued improvement and standardization of the Financial Reporting team\xe2\x80\x99s processes. The successful candidate is a self-starter and flexible, has a high level of integrity, is action and goal-oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities: Prepares the monthly group consolidation of financial data submitted by subsidiaries and associates Interfaces with site teams to ensure information provided for consolidation is complete and accurate Prepares and records consolidation journal entries, including elimination and amortization entries, accruals and intercompany charges Ensures intercompany balances are reconciled; works with the Corporate Accounting team and site office teams to resolve differences Prepares the consolidated cash flow statement Participates in the preparation of quarterly financial statements, including footnote disclosures, in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other internal and external reports as needed Supports the appropriate accounting for the Company\xe2\x80\x99s stock-based compensation arrangements Manages timelines for the finance department, including coordination with site finance teams to ensure deadlines are met Liaises with external and internal auditors, providing them with required analyses and responding to their queries Assists with the maintenance of adequate internal controls for monthly and quarterly Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) requirements Identifies opportunities to, and participates in the implementation of, initiatives opportunities to improve the quality and timeliness of the Company\xe2\x80\x99s consolidated financial reporting processes Researches, analyzes and recommends the proper application of IFRS for complex corporate accounting issues; prepares related accounting position papers Assists in the maintenance of the Company\xe2\x80\x99s consolidation software (OneStream) Performs ad hoc financial reporting and other financial and non-financial duties, as required

Qualifications / Attributes University degree in Accounting or other business-related field; CPA designation required Minimum 5 years work experience, preferably with a high-growth, multi-jurisdictional public company or a Big 4 accounting firm; previous experience in the mining or resource industry is preferred Comprehensive understanding of IFRS, and financial analysis and public company reporting requirements Solid knowledge of internal control requirements relating to financial reporting and familiarity with planning and budgeting processes and management reporting Excellent analytical and written and verbal communication skills Advanced user of Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP and OneStream desirable Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build partnerships across the organization Attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple and competing priorities and deadlines
