Responsibilities\xc2\xb7Prepare year-end engagements and personal/corporate tax returns\xc2\xb7Plan and execute work related to Assurance and Accounting and income tax engagements\xc2\xb7Prepare financial statements that comply with accounting standards\xc2\xb7Able to build effective working relationships with clients\xc2\xb7Able to effectively respond to client requests and suggestions related to the engagement\xc2\xb7Audit financial statements\xc2\xb7Draft reports and responses to client queries for manager review\xc2\xb7Maintain communication between partners and other team members on an ongoing basis of progress and significant issuesQualifications\xc2\xb7Professional CPA designation\xc2\xb72-3 years of public accounting and audit experience\xc2\xb7May consider applicants from 2021 and 2022 CFE writers\xc2\xb7Prior experience in the industries our firm currently supports considered an asset\xc2\xb7Excellent working knowledge of accounting standards\xc2\xb7Excellent analytical & problem solving skills\xc2\xb7An innovative thinker, comfortable in a team and client-focused environment\xc2\xb7Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail\xc2\xb7Community focused\xc2\xb7A team player who encourages the success of all\xc2\xb7Self-starter, able to work independently\xc2\xb7Strong interpersonal, technical, and communication skills; and\xc2\xb7Knowledge of CaseWare, CaseView, TaxPrep, and Microsoft Office considered an assetPowered by JazzHR
