About Our Client:Our client, located in Vaughan, is hiring a Senior Accountant to add to their team on a permanent basis.This company operates in a hybrid work model environment and offers growth and advancement opportunities!DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Month-end closing activities
- Maintain monthly account reconciliations for all Balance Sheet accounts
- Prepare monthly entries, maintain, and perform analysis for various accounts, including Intercompany and Treasury accounts
- Monthly analysis and reporting of certain accounts, including monthly and quarterly reporting
- Assist with budget preparation
- Involved in Capital Expenditures and preparing Capital Asset Reporting
- Accounting Designation (CPA) is highly preferred
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Minimum of 5 years of previous accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with large ERP systems
- Multi-divisional, large corporate environment background
- Familiar with full cycle inventory process
- Experience with corporate reporting requirements, external/internal audits
- Strong communication, active listening and influencing skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to embrace and encourage teamwork
