Our downtown Vancouver real estate client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis.
**Competitive salary ranging from $75,000 - $87,000 + Bonus**

Reporting to the Controller, responsibilities include:

• Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements semi-annually and annually to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain subledger and continuity workpapers.
• Perform full cycle month-end accounting, including project accounting, AR/AP, inter-company reconciliations, cash management, and GST filings.
• Compile monthly management reports and variance analyses.
• Prepare annual CAM reconciliation
• Maintain internal controls and recommend process improvements.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and special accounting transactions under ASPE.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting for decision-making.
• Support special projects, ad-hoc reporting, and junior staff development.

Successful Candidate:

• Designated CPA with 3-5+ years progressive accounting experience
• Previous experience within public practice a the Sr Accountant level is highly regarded
• Full cycle accounting experience within a medium to large team
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
