Dilawri Group of Companies is currently looking to fill the position of Senior Accountant.
Essential Duties:
xc2xb7 Responsible for full cycle Accounting
xc2xb7 Reconciling schedules and bank statements
xc2xb7 Maintaining general ledgers
xc2xb7 Maintain management information reports and prepare financial statements
xc2xb7 Schedules and statements reconciliation
xc2xb7 Understanding of Internal Controls and their importance
xc2xb7 Expense analysis
xc2xb7 Establish and implement appropriate internal controls to help improve efficiency of operations
xc2xb7 GST, PST Filing Preparation
xc2xb7 Month end close procedures, quarterly, and year-end audit working papers
xc2xb7 Other related duties as assigned by management
All successful applicants must possess the following qualities:
xc2xb7 2+ years of accounting experience and at least 1 year as an accountant at an Automotive Dealership would be an asset.
xc2xb7 Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
xc2xb7 Experience working with department managers to enhance controls and reduce expenses
xc2xb7 Proficient in Microsoft Excel
xc2xb7 Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
xc2xb7 Be extremely organized and detail-oriented
xc2xb7 CDK and One-Eighty experience would be an asset
