If you are an experienced accountant who is looking for a new challenge, then this is the perfect opportunity for you!ABOUT THE CLIENTImpact recruitment has partnered with an established real estate developer that has been in the business for over 8 years. They have recently taken on 2 massive projects with a couple more prestigious projects in their pipeline and are currently looking to add a corporate accountant to their team!ABOUT THE POSITIONReporting to the director of finance, the corporate accountant will be responsible for:
- Process month end process, including preparing journal entries, completing account reconciliations and interest calculations.
- Prepare annual financial statements and monthly disbursements, recoveries and project
- Prepare monthly GST, annual tax returns and monthly bank and trust reconciliations.
- Resolve discrepancies with vendor invoices, employee expenses and completing A/R reconciliations.
- Enter accounts payable invoices into system and prepare EFT and cheques.
- Provide administrative support including scanning, filing, and meeting room
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Real estate experience is an asset.
- Designated or pursuing CPA.
- Salary: $70,000 to $90,000
- 2 to 3 weeks vacation
