ABOUT THE CLIENT
Impact recruitment has partnered with an established real estate developer that has been in the business for over 8 years. They have recently taken on 2 massive projects with a couple more prestigious projects in their pipeline and are currently looking to add a corporate accountant to their team!
ABOUT THE POSITION
Reporting to the director of finance, the corporate accountant will be responsible for:

• Process month end process, including preparing journal entries, completing account reconciliations and interest calculations.
• Prepare annual financial statements and monthly disbursements, recoveries and project
• Prepare monthly GST, annual tax returns and monthly bank and trust reconciliations.
• Resolve discrepancies with vendor invoices, employee expenses and completing A/R reconciliations.
• Enter accounts payable invoices into system and prepare EFT and cheques.
• Provide administrative support including scanning, filing, and meeting room

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Real estate experience is an asset.
• Designated or pursuing CPA.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Salary: $70,000 to $90,000
• 2 to 3 weeks vacation
• Extended health and dental
