About the Company
Our client subsidiaries span from transportation logistics, heavy-duty equipment dealerships, equipment leasing & rentals, real estate holdings, and hospitality. They are looking for a Senior Accountant who will play a key role in the Accounting function, including internal and external audits, financial reporting, month-end close, establishing internal controls and implementing new tools and processes to drive efficiencies.

About the Opportunity

• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packages to various funders
• Play a key role in the organization\xe2\x80\x99s financial reporting and accounting period-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements, review of period-end adjustments and various reconciliations performed by accounting team.
• Oversee regulatory reporting requirements including compliance with tax and government bodies.
• Oversee monthly closing of the company and provide guidance of reconciliation and adjustments
• Take ownership of financial reporting and bookkeeping of real estate holding companies owned by the company
• Assist with external and internal audits and tax returns.
• Deliver timely direction to the accounting team by reviewing work as necessary and provide ongoing coaching.
• Work closely with operation staff to ensure that accounting policies are being followed
• Review, recommend and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Analyze, interpret and escalate trends that require management\'s attention.
• Play a key role in helping to develop and implement internal controls, and process improvement
• Execute special projects and ad hoc assignments as required.

About You

• CPA
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in corporate accounting or public accounting

• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel pivots, functions/formula) and finance software.

• Experience in NetSuite, Casitron and internal controls are strong assets.

Salary Range
$90,000 - $100,000/year
