Senior Accountant
Recruitment Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client\xe2\x80\x99s team in Airdrie. The successful candidate role will be maintaining accounting records at the entity level and providing timely and accurate financial reporting information.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
- Responsible for month end reconciliations and preparing accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial disclosures
- Prepare month end financial and operational reporting packages
- Assist with preparation of full cycle accounting records for various entities, accounts receivable, expenses and accounts payable.
- Perform other daily and weekly financial and reporting requirements as needed
- Ensure positive continuous improvement to the accounting and reporting function and associated processes
- Establish internal controls, monitor compliance with policies and procedures
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations
- Bachelors Finance/Accounting degree, CPA designation or pursuing
- 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 of relevant industry experience
- Experience with Sage 300 or QuickBooks would be an asset
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy, excellent communication and organizational skills
