What you'll do:
Lead the monthly internal financial reporting process, including preparation of analysis and supporting documentation.
Prepare quarterly financial reports and Board reporting packages with related analysis.
Coordinate the annual budgeting process, support business units with inputs, and consolidate financial statements and presentations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and improve financial processes and systems for greater efficiency.
Support the implementation of financial systems ensuring optimal reporting functionality and providing technical accounting expertise.
Who you'll work with:
Reporting to the Supervisor - Financial Accounting, you'll guide Accounting Analysts on data-driven projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external consultants on process improvements. You'll work independently while receiving strategic support from the Supervisor, Financial Accounting. This role operates in a collaborative environment that values initiative, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

You are looking for a career in Finance and:
Have a Bachelor of Commerce/Business, majoring in accounting or finance.
Have a professional accounting designation (CPA) is required.
Have 6+ years of relevant progressively responsible experience in both accounting and financial reporting and accounting enterprise systems. (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
