This role allows you to leverage your passion for process improvement, and technology skills, to enhance their reporting capabilities. As a Senior Accountant, you will report to the Manager of Financial Reporting, mentor other team members, and ensure the accuracy of financial data. • Ensure integrity of the general ledger through maintenance and reconciliations
• Serve as champion and administrator for financial reporting systems
• Lead month end processes and support review of the financial statements
• Participate in monthly Branch P&L reviews and serve as a liaison with branches
• Assist in preparation of budgeting, forecasting, and external auditor requirements
• Project accounting and support where required

The ideal candidate will have:

• CPA designation (near completion of the CPA program is acceptable)
• 5+ year experience in financial accounting
• Ability to prioritize deliverables and work independently
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical skills
• Effective communication skills
• Results driven with a process improvement mindset
• Proficient with MS Office, including Excel
