We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee financial processes, ensure accurate reporting, and support strategic decisions.
In this role, you will manage daily accounting operations, lead month-end and year-end closings, mentor junior staff, and work with leadership to analyze financial data and maintain compliance.
As a senior accountant, your work will be key to building client trust and driving the firm's growth.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
Oversee, communicate & be responsible for a group of our clients to ensure that they are well-serviced from A-Z and that they are kept satisfied
Prepare & complete year-end financial statements and present them to our clients
Assist in onboarding new clients by helping to clean up messy books
Review the day-to-day work performed by others to ensure that everything is on track
Be accountable for the quality and timeliness of all tasks related to the group of clients that are assigned to you
Assist with some of our virtual CFO services, such as budgeting, cash flow projections, KPI reports, consolidations, and other miscellaneous management reports that may be required by our clients
Assist with bookkeeping & sales tax-related tasks
What You Need To Succeed
You have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
You hold a CPA or equivalent certification
You have a deep understanding of [e.g., GAAP, tax regulations, financial reporting]*. You are proficient in [e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting software]*. You have some experience working in an accounting firm
You are a clear communicator
You believe in delivering awesome customer service and you have experience in a customer-facing role
You are able to take a messy set of books and turn it into something pretty.
You have experience constructing year-end financial statements
You are able to and like working in a fast-paced environment
You are exceptionally structured & organized
You are a problem solver
You have experience managing others
You have corporate tax and personal tax experience
You have experience creating budgets, cash-flow projections, and consolidations
