We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated ABA Senior Therapist to join our west Ottawa team in providing high-quality programming and therapy services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder an/or other developmental needs.
The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized treatment plans rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The most suitable candidate would be someone driven by the science of ABA, along with a passion for child safety, autonomy, development, and understands how to teach with learner assent.
Responsibilities
Design evidence-based ABA therapy programs tailored to each child's needs and goals.
Collect and analyze data on client progress to determine treatment adjustments and ensure effective intervention.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to develop comprehensive care plans and provide guidance on support strategies.
Ensure detailed documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with organizational standards.
Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing training to stay current with best practices.
Foster a safe, engaging environment.
Adhere to all ethical guidelines, confidentiality policies, and safety protocols related to patient care.
Collaborate with Senior staff to ensure smooth operations within the clinic and with therapists.
Provide training and regular supervision to therapists.
Qualifications
Experience working with children in an ABA-specific clinical setting.
Education in ABA techniques and principles.
Previous supervision work in an ABA-specific clinical setting is preferred.
Strong data collection skills to track client progress accurately.
Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills are essential for working effectively with families.
RBA certification is required, or must be close in the process of completing.

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour
