If you are a talented and experienced Seed Cleaning Tech, Aplin has the right opportunity for you! Our Winnipeg-based client has partnered with Leanne Bonnar, Partner to lead their next for a Technician to work in their South end facility.

Perks & Benefits:

• Full-time permanent opportunity with benefits and pension
• 8-12-hour shifts that rotate day to night every 4 weeks. 4 days on, 3 off
• Paid overtime
• Training will be provided

Responsibilities:

• Set up seed cleaning equipment according to written procedures for each seed type
• Clean equipment between seed types
• Monitor quality and output of seed cleaning Sample and confirm clean seed output
• Prepare lot-controlled labels for bins of seed output as per specifications outlined by Supervisor
• Use proper warehouse procedures for the product storage location, recording any movement of product within the warehouse
• Assist with yard and warehouse organization and housekeeping
• Follow Health and Safety policies as outlined

Qualifications:

• Highly motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to work within a team environment
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is an asset
• Previous forklift experience is preferred, but training and certification will be provided
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to work shift work with potential for overtime
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Applicants must have reliable transportation as the client is located on a non-bus route
• Steel-toed safety boots are required
