Logistics Assistant Seed Supply (2300687) \xe2\x80\x93 12 month contract
Working Model: Hybrid (3 days on site, 2 days at home)
Location: Alberta, Lethbridge
Where the Chemistry Happens\xe2\x80\xa6
Primarily responsible to coordinate the inventory accuracy and IP model for Canola, this position will manage receipt of Seed cleaning reports, process order entry, and IP model execution. As a part of managing the inventory at seeds sites, this position will coordinate inventory audits, counts, write-off and obsolesce. This will facilitate contract manufacturing in Canada and the US as well as accurate inventory flow at all sites.
Formula for Success: You Will\xe2\x80\xa6
  • Inventory Management: receive and enter processing in SAP in accordance with the lot naming conventions for QC/QM to properly interface within data systems.
  • Contract Manufacturing: manage triangulation of inventories for management of margins. Oversee the activities of selling semi-finished product plus operating costs to US LE and buy back of market minus margin valued material for treating, packaging and distribution.
  • SCOPE: Responsible to support data entry for reporting and alignment with receiving, cleaning reports and SAP.
  • Oversee the management of seed inventories to maintain accuracy and manage the disposal, write down and obsolescence of inventories.
  • Inventory Audits and production data and recipe maintenance SAP.

Qualifications

Education
  • Diploma or designation in business, supply-chain, OR an equivalent of education and/or related experience.

Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience with inventory control and tracking systems (SAP).
  • Experience in agriculture and/or seed processing preferred.

Knowledge/Skills
  • SAP Operating systems.
  • Microsoft Office Tools.
