:

River Rock Casino Resort is recruiting for a Security Supervisor. This position is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day activities of security operations while establishing and contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees. This individual ensures adherence to all policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and assists in providing a learning environment. They will also provide input on performance evaluations and assist with the implementation of all new security operations initiatives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

• Provides input for team member performance objectives and evaluations
• Mentors, coaches and trains front line security staff, including best practices for the non-gaming record keeping system
• Verifies security timesheets
• Monitors, documents and reports internal and external violations, unsafe conditions, potential hazards, suspicious persons and activities of the entire property as directed; prepares electronic statements via a non-gaming record keeping system
• Enrolls guests into the Self-Exclusion Program
• Overseeing crowd control for special events
• Administers and maintains various critical security systems (e.g., Key Control, WINPAC, SIMS, Threat Management System)
• Reviews surveillance files; maintains site surveillance equipment; reports issues
• Enforces restricted access by unauthorized persons
• Observes cashier transactions and slot drops (if applicable); escorts cash and cash equivalent movements
• Conducts regular patrols of the entire property as directed; identifies risks and conditions that present safety issues for team members, guests, facility and company assets
• Provides or assists with First Aid for team members and guests
• Tags and reports found property; transfers to Lost and Found
• Responds to, resolves or escalates security issues
• May escort guests and team members or assign escort duties as required
• Performs identification checks as required
• Liaises and communicates effectively with all operational departments
• Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership, team members, regulatory bodies and police authorities
• Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned or directed

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications:

• Available to work up to 40 hours per week in a variety of shifts including evenings, graveyards, and weekends as we operate 24 hours per day, seven days a week
• Post-secondary education or suitable combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2 years\' experience in gaming security; minimum 1 year supervisory experience
• Must be willing to recertify for Use of Force every 3 years
• Occupational First Aid Level 2 asset
• Can understand, speak and write English; fluency in other languages an asset
• Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
• Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
• Serving It Right, Smart Serve or IGB certification, or the ability to obtain a Serving it Right Certification
• The ability to successfully obtain a Criminal Record Check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
• A commitment to continually increase your knowledge of our products and services in order to offer exceptional experiences to our guest
