Job Title: Bar Security (Part Time)

Position Overview:

We are looking for reliable, professional, and personable Bar Security Staff to join our team. As part of the security team, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and comfort of all guests, performers, and staff. You'll maintain a visible presence, de-escalate situations when necessary, and help foster a positive environment where live music can be enjoyed safely.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests and provide a welcoming presence at the door. Check IDs to ensure legal entry. Monitor the venue to ensure a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. De-escalate conflicts and intervene when necessary in a calm, professional manner. Work closely with bartenders, management, and staff to maintain venue safety. Escort individuals off premises when necessary, always with respect and professionalism. Assist in emergency situations (e.g., first aid, evacuations, crowd control). Promote venue policies in a fair and consistent way.
Qualifications:

Prior security experience preferred (but not required). Valid security license/certification. (Preferred) Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Physically able to stand for long periods and handle occasional physical intervention. Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all guests.
