Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring security systems, patrolling designated areas, and responding promptly to any incidents or emergencies. This role is essential in maintaining a secure environment and preventing loss or theft. Prior experience in law enforcement or security is preferred, along with familiarity with surveillance tools such as CCTV.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify and address potential security issues Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras, to oversee activity across the premises Enforce access control policies by checking credentials and maintaining visitor logs Respond swiftly to alarms, disturbances, or emergency situations in accordance with established protocols Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing and deterring suspicious activity Ensure all security procedures are followed consistently to protect personnel and property

Qualifications

Must have basic security license.

Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is advantageous Knowledge of surveillance systems and CCTV operation is preferred Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately Ability to stand for extended periods and perform patrol duties across large areas Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts as required
