Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our facilities, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing surveillance systems and implementing loss prevention strategies to deter criminal activity.

Note: This position is for a hands on site.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Operate CCTV and other surveillance equipment to observe and report suspicious activities. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, following established protocols. Conduct regular inspections of the premises, identifying any potential security risks or hazards. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure a coordinated response to incidents. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Enforce company policies and procedures regarding safety and security measures. Provide assistance to Client, employees and visitors as needed while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Requirements

Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields is preferred. Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is essential. Must have First Aid&CPR and Pro Serve Use of Force and Hand Cuff training is a plus. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively. Knowledge of loss prevention strategies is a plus. Must possess a valid security license or certification as required by local regulations. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.50 per hour
