Pay rate: $18.00 - $19.00

Job Summary:

Allied Universal is seeking experienced Security Guards for our security operations in Calgary. The ideal candidate is a seasoned guard with excellent communication skills, and able to work within a dynamic security team. If you have experience as a Security Guard, enjoy patrolling, and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a safe and secure environment Access control of entryways and exit points using equipment at your disposal Facility patrol and enforcement of site regulations. Ensure smooth and safe traffic flow in and out of the centre at all times. Monitor security cameras and other surveillance equipment to detect and deter any suspicious or unauthorized activities. Enforce property regulations and city bi-laws on the client's site Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues Complete daily reports and incident reports Provide excellent customer service Good adaptability

Requirement:

Valid Alberta Security Guard License (required) Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time. Must be 18 years old or above High school diploma or GED equivalent Proficiency in English is required Valid first aid certification 1 year or more of security related experience First aid and CPR certification required Excellent customer service and resourcefulness Good communication skills (written/oral)
