Security Guard
Job Description
Provide effective response to a variety of security situations. Duties will vary based on job site, and may include some of the following:
Interior and exterior patrols
Mobile and foot patrols, along with static presence on sites
Enforcing property rules, city by-laws, and other applicable laws
Deterring and responding to incidents on property
Responding to various types of emergencies (fire alarms/elevator entrapment/intrusion alarms)
Communicating regularly with patrons/clients
Completing reports and memo book entries on a regular basis
Patrolling in a variety of settings including but not limited to condominiums, commercial properties, stores, grocery stores, and malls
We are currently seeking a motivated, energized person to fill a vacancy within our team. Candidate must work well in a team environment and be able to handle high stress situations.
Candidate must possess the following
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- Valid full G drivers license.
- One year security experience is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Great attention to detail.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
Expected hours: 12 - 24 per week
Work Location: In person
