Security Guard - Gladious Security

Job Summary

Gladious Security is looking for reliable, professional, and vigilant Security Guards to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong observation skills, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to safety and security.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and control access by authorizing entry and exit of employees, visitors, and contractors. Conduct routine patrols of the property to prevent and detect signs of suspicious activity or security breaches. Operate and monitor CCTV and other surveillance systems effectively. Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as required. Prepare accurate and detailed daily reports on activities, incidents, and observations. Enforce company policies, safety rules, and security protocols consistently. Support loss prevention efforts by identifying risks and taking preventive measures.

Qualifications & Requirements

Previous experience in security or law enforcement is an asset but not mandatory. Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance practices is preferred. Strong observation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations. Must hold a valid Advance Security Guard License (as per provincial regulations). Physically fit and able to perform patrol duties, including standing or walking for extended periods.

Pay: $17.75 per hour
