Job Description

Commissionaires BC is currently looking for Security professionals to work at a Government of Canada site in Summerland. As a Security Officer, you'll be responsible site access control, continuous foot and vehicle patrols of the interior and exterior of the building.

Payrate:

$21-22.50/hr

We have the following permanent position available:

Monday to Friday midnight until 6am

Your 'Must Haves':

BC Security Workers License 5 years living in Canada, due to clearance requirements Class 5 Drivers License a clear driver's abstract OFA 1 Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience in preparing security reports Proficient with MS Office and comfortable with using computers Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances

Job Duties:

Provides excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and providing solutions. Liaison between the site and the public Interior and exterior patrols, including extensive walking patrols Access Control and visitor verification Gate checks Lowering and raising of flags Snow clearing
