Bar Security Guard. Location: Barrie, ON Job type: Part time We are seeking dedicated and vigilant Security Guards to join our team at. As a Security Guard, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patrons and staff. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the overall security and safety of the premises while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of patrons and staff.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter any potential security breaches or disruptive behavior.
- Enforce bar policies and regulations to create a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Conduct regular patrols within and around the premises to identify and resolve any security concerns.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances.
- Provide assistance and guidance to patrons, including handling conflicts and diffusing tense situations.
- Check identification and age verification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
- Collaborate with other security team members, bartenders, and management to maintain a cohesive and secure atmosphere.
- Smart Serve License
- Security Guard License
- Excellent observational and surveillance skills with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patrons and staff.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the bar\'s operating hours.
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
- Barrie, ON L4M 1A2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
